IPL 2020 Points table: Rajasthan moves to sixth after thrilling win over SRH

Rajasthan Royals ended its run of four-match losing streak to lift itself to sixth in the points table with six points from seven matches in the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) being played in the UAE. Steve Smith’s men pulled off a five-wicket win over David Warner’s Sunrisers Hyderabad in their IPL encounter on Sunday.

Royals restricted SRH to 158 but looked to lose the plot when it was reduced to 78 for 5 after 12 overs. But Rahul Tewatia (42*) and Riyan Parag (45*) took the attack to the opposition to take Royals to victory. SRH remains fifth in the table with six points.

The top four teams will qualify for the knock-outs. The top two teams on the points square off in the play-off and the winner goes into the final.

The third and fourth placed teams face each other in Eliminator 1. The winner then takes on the losing team from the play-off in Eliminator 2. The winner qualifies for the final.
